OCT_19 is a personal photographic record of the social outbreak that occurred in Chile in October 2019, in the surroundings of Plaza Dignidad (formerly Plaza Baquedano). The transformation of the territory is gradually manifesting itself as a citizen catharsis. The social uprising also entails the lifting of the ground, converted into small pieces that are thrown as precarious weapons in defense of police repression. The deconstruction of the landscape is manifested in the transfer of these fragments that are reorganized, resignifying the urban landscape, exposing the deep social crisis, anger and frustration.
